About
A vast cloud dominates the upper half of this print — white and billowing, carved with meticulous attention to its form — reflected in the calm sea below. The cliffs to the left are dark and solid, grounding the composition, while a distant headland and a tiny sail on the horizon give a sense of the scale of the view.
This is a quieter print than some of the others — less about the energy of the sea, more about stillness and light, and the way water can hold the sky. The smaller format suits it. It rewards close looking.
